Molybdenum alloy
ReTi Metal offer and supply molybdenum alloy including Molybdenum copper, TZM alloy, Molybdenum lanthanum in the form of plate, sheet, tube, wire, boat, crucible and fabricated parts.
TZM alloy:
0.5 Ti, 0.08 Zr, 0.02 C, remainder Mo.
TZM has a higher recrystallization temperature and higher strength and hardness at room and at elevated temperatures than unalloyed molybdenum. It also exhibits adequate ductility. Its superior mechanical properties arc due to the dispersion of complex carbides in the molybdenum matrix.
TZM gives excellent service in applications that require high strength, creep resistance at elevated temperatures.
Available form of TZM alloy: rod, plate, sheet, tube, boat, crucible, nozzle, fastener, etc.
Mo-Cu alloy:
Molybdenum Copper alloy is the composite material of Molybdenum and Copper.
It has the similar performances as Tungsten-Copper alloy. But its density is less than tungsten copper alloy, so it is more suitable for spaceflight and avigation industries.
But its density is less than Tungsten-Copper alloy's, so it is more suitable for spaceflight and avigation industries.
Composite is from 50MoCu to 90MoCu.
We can tailor the composite between molybdenum and copper.
Available form of TZM alloy: rod, plate, sheet, electrode, fabricated parts
Mo-La alloy:
Molybdenum lanthanum alloy is a molybdenum-based material which is doped with 0.7 weight% of La2O3. ML is available as semi-finished products like sheet and plate material. Stable fine-dispersed particles of La2O3 combined with elongated grain structure leads to very good high-temperature properties (especially creep properties) up to operation temperatures of 2000°C.
Advantages of Mo-La alloy compared to pure molybdenum:
higher stability against grain growth
higher creep resistance
better welding properties
Available form of Mo-La alloy: rod, plate, tube, disc, boat, crucible, fabricated parts
